ABOUT MIKE

Born and raised in Luzerne County, Mike Harostock represents a fourth generation of his family to call Northeast Pennsylvania home. He and his wife are raising their daughter here, passing along the values of family, hard work, and service which define the region.

A scientist and inventor by trade, Mike Harostock has spent his career solving real-world problems across medical device research, supply chain and logistics, information services, and information technology. He currently leads new technology and product development at his family-owned information services company, where he most recently designed and launched proprietary, industry-leading technology.

Mike is a graduate of Penn State University and holds graduate degrees from Drexel University, The Commonwealth Medical College, and Villanova University.

Deeply engaged in the community, Mike Harostock has directed a local charity and currently serves on several boards, including the Chamber of Commerce and a local youth camp. He also coaches a local high school sports team and contributes nationally to coach development programs.

A lifelong Northeastern Pennsylvania love story, Mike Harostock met his wife in grade school; they became friends in high school, dated in college, and have been married for eleven years. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and teaching his daughter about heroes – both local and historic.
